The development of radioulnar synostosis due to post-traumatic injuries of the elbow or forearm can lead to debilitating outcomes. Several treatment options are available to hinder the progression and prevent recurrence. We used a combination of these treatments in a series of patients and observed the outcomes.

A record of all tooth extractions performed in 21 general dental practice centers during a 1-month period was logged on specially designed study forms. The patient's age and gender, number of teeth extracted, and the reason(s) for the extraction were recorded.

In the pediatric surgery unit, Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Abu Dhabi, UAE, and in the pediatric urology unit, Ibn Sina Hospital, Kuwait, Forty testes in 32 patients were operated using the modification of staged traction laparoscopic-orchiopexy. The modified technique involved intracorporeal placement of suture, gabernacular sparing, no intraabdominal dissection and shorter traction duration as short as 7 days without the need of inguinal incision.

Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG) is becoming an increasingly popular form of bariatric surgery, accounting for more than 50% of these procedures performed in the USA. Given this popularity, more is being understood about the complications associated with LSG, which, though uncommon, include the formation of strictures and stenosis. The purpose of this study is to establish a safe and effective protocol for the treatment of stenosis post-LSG using endoscopic balloon dilatation.
