Granulomatous mastitis (GM) is a recognized, but an uncommon cause of breast mass. Awareness of this condition is important, because it can clinically as well as radiologically mimic breast carcinoma. In this study, we present the imaging features of a series of 10 cases with proved diagnosis of granulomatous mastitis with emphasis on magnetic resonance (MR) findings.

Population-based mammographic screening, founded on the premise that 'early is better than late,' has been adopted in several countries but has been the subject of controversy since its inception. Findings and interpretation of clinical trials data vary considerably, with disagreement on the outcome and value of such a procedure.

Calcium pyrophosphatase dihydrate (CPPD) crystal deposition disease in a teaching hospital in Kuwait
A Medline electronic search showed a paucity of reports on calcium pyrophosphate dihydrate crystal deposition disease (CPPD-CDD) from the Gulf region. To date only a single case report has been published from this region. Therefore, this study aimed, firstly, at finding out the prevalence of chondrocalcinosis in adult Arabs in Kuwait presenting with knee arthritis and, secondly, at carrying out an observational study of CPPD-CDD among Arabs in Kuwait.

Kuwait has a shortage of radiologists, especially in mammography, resulting in increased workload and longer waiting times for women receiving imaging investigations. This study looked at how radiographers and radiologists perceived radiographers' role extension (RE) in mammography, and whether this could reduce radiologist workload, thereby improving patient service and waiting times.
